Farfalle is an Italian word for butterfly.
The dip-dyed pre-shaped wings were made while I was in Japan, but it
was in Italy that the drawings were done. At the time I was studying
butterfly wings for a London commission.
But it was years later, in Australia, that all the pieces came
together in homage to the beauty of butterflies of all nations.
