Five works made up the Fiesta series.  Three of them live in the Lake District, brightening up the long grey northern winter. I was lucky to escape many of those winters, staying as a guest with friends who lived on the Balearic Island of Minorca. It was there that these works were conceived, inspired by the flags and banners, colors, warmth and jubilance of the fiestas of Spain.
