I don't know why, but a great deal of what I do in the studio finds its way into a scroll format. This series grew out of a number of small paintings/collages exploring the idea of the three-dimensional void sometimes referred to as Tao. From this void all phenomena and experience are said to unfold, flower, and then, return.
