Early in 1987 twenty years of making wearable art
came to an end and I began to use my textile surface design skills
to make works that would be worn by walls.
It was a radical change of direction for me. Once taken, the surprises
contained in the three envelopes would manifest, but meanwhile I was
pretty scared. The cord escaping from within the picture and draping
over the edge of the frame - is me. |
